Rack and Pinion

A rack and pinion is a pair of gears which convert rotational motion into linear motion. I.e. The circular pinion engages teeth on a flat bar - the rack. Rotational motion then applied to the pinion will then cause the rack to move sideways.

Rapid Link (Quick Link)

Similar in shape to a link of chain the Rapid Link has a screwed aperture that allows it to be connected to other items such as chain and rigging accessories which with its extended hexagonal locking feature provides a secure closure.

REEVING THIMBLE

An elongated heavy duty eyelet manufactured from crescent section for forming eyes on wire ropes which can be reeved through one another to form a choke hitch

RFID

RFID (Radio-frequency identification) is the use of an object typically referred to as an RFID tag that is applied to or incorporated into a product for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves.
